Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching seeks a Senior Connectivity Design Hub Engineer to lead end-to-end development of Connectivity systems, including Tactical DataLinks and Satcom, from concept to qualification.

Based in the new Manching design office, you will define architecture, coordinate with German customers, and manage supplier RFIs/RFPs while ensuring traceability and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Communications/Aerospace or Software Engineering.
At least 3 years of professional experience in connectivity or systems engineering.
Experience with Satcom and connectivity systems such as Tactical DataLinks.

Responsibilities

Definition and design of the Connectivity architecture.
Support customer meetings (German mainly) and generate top-level requirements.
Align with Domain Connectivity Strategy considering program specifics.
Supplier selection, RFP and RFI generation and analysis with Procurement.
Define and validate L1/L2/L3 requirements and ensure traceability.
Define interfaces with interfacing systems and equipment.
Support L2/L3 system tests.
