Job summary

V2X in Hohenfels, Germany, seeks an experienced Engineering Lead to manage a multi-disciplinary team supporting the JMRC-IS and its networks. Lead lifecycle from proposal through modernization, aligning with DoD objectives.

You will mentor 15–20 engineers, oversee RF systems, network administration, and system integration, and collaborate with Chief Engineers and Program Managers to drive proposals and technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Expertise in system/network administration, RF coverage analysis, cybersecurity, and system lifecycle management.
• Strong communication, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 15–20 engineers and technical staff.
• Oversee engineering execution for JMRC-IS and training networks, including RF systems, system/network administration, and system integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive proposals, ensure compliance, and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide technical oversight of subcontractors and guide strategic workforce planning and succession management.
• Support business development through engineering input on proposals and technical roadmaps.
• Deliver detailed technical reports and represent V2X in customer and leadership briefings.
