Job summary

Harrison, Walker & Harper is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent for site leadership from mobilization through close-out. The role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity and adherence to contract plans and specifications.

You will coordinate crews, materials, equipment and subcontractors while maintaining strict safety practices. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Concrete Superintendent, strong leadership and communication skills, and knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent.
• Proven ability to manage projects from mobilization to completion.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety best practices.
• Proficiency in construction management software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew is properly staffed and that workmanship and productivity standards are maintained.
• Coordinates scheduling for material, equipment, subcontractors and manpower.
• Ensures work rules are observed and crew starts/finishes on time.
• Establishes measures to protect the security of employees and materials.
• Evaluates material and equipment on the job, anticipating changes in materials and staffing.
• Instructs crew about company policies and safety practices; maintains a clean job site.
