Job summary

Harrison Walker & Harper is seeking a Concrete Superintendent for our Vernon, TX project. You will coordinate field labor production and ensure work meets plans and specs while leading crews and enforcing safety rules.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling subcontractors, maintaining productivity, supervising material and equipment, and ensuring clean, secure job sites; focus on concrete work and on-time start/finish.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent.
• Proven ability to manage projects from mobilization to completion.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety best practices.
• Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field labor production to meet contract plans and specs.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce the Safety Program.
• Staff and schedule material, equipment, subcontractors, and manpower.
• Ensure workmanship standards and maximum productivity on site.
• Maintain a clean, secure job site and perform final cleanup.
• Direct concrete work on site and ensure on-time start/finish.

STARTING PAYRATE 40 45 per hour 150 PER DIEM negotiable depending on experience

Position Overview

Responsible for coordination and control of field labor production to ensure that assigned work is performed in accordance with contract plans and specifications Monitors the companys Safety Program Conducts job site safety meetings in accordance with existing program Responsibilities Ensures crew is properly staffed and that proper standards of workmanship and maximum productivity are maintained Coordinates scheduling for material equipment subcontractors and manpower through the Project Superintendent Project Manager Ensures work rules are observed Ensures work crew start and finish on time Establishes and maintains measures to protect the security of employees and materials Evaluates material and equipment on the job anticipating changes in materials and staffingInstructs crew about company policies and safety practices Responsible for maintaining a clean job site and ensure final clean up Focuses on concrete work

Qualifications

Minimum 5 7 years of experience as a Concrete SuperintendentProven ability to manage projects from mobilization to completionStrong leadership communication and problem solving skillsKnowledge of OSHA and safety best practicesProficiency in construction management software a plus
