Job summary

Kent Companies is seeking a superintendent to lead major concrete operations on high-profile commercial and industrial projects across the United States from our Houston-area base.

The role emphasizes field execution, balancing production with quality, and coordinating with customers and internal teams. ACI flatwork credentials are a plus; 3–5 years in similar roles is expected. Travel to out-of-state projects is 100% likely.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of superintendent-level commercial concrete construction experience.
• Experience on large commercial/industrial flatwork projects.
• Self-performing concrete with in-house manpower.
• Willingness to travel 100% to out-of-state projects.
• ACI flatwork credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, schedules, budgets, manpower utilization, and production rates.
• Manage customers and communicate internally with project teams and externally with customers.
• Understand constructability, mix designs, and place-and-finish.
• Coordinate with GC and owners; oversee active commercial concrete jobs.
• Travel to out-of-state data center or warehouse projects as needed.
