Job summary

Sunrock Industries is seeking an experienced Supervisor of Concrete Plant Operations to support our Raleigh-Durham, NC market. This role oversees daily operations, production, maintenance, safety, quality control, and personnel management of a ready-mix concrete facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (required) or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience supervising production teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, production, maintenance, safety, quality control and personnel management at a ready-mix concrete plant.
• Coordinate dispatch with truck utilization and delivery schedules.
• Operate and troubleshoot batching and dispatch software (Alkon Spectrum Batching, Command Alkon Integra Dispatch).
• Plan preventive maintenance and plant repairs; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgeting, cost control and operational reporting.
• Mentor and develop Concrete Delivery Professionals and plant staff.
• Prepare performance reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
