Job summary

Pave America is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead our concrete crews on construction sites. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety, schedule adherence, and high-quality results.

The candidate should have hands-on concrete experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and site plans. The role requires supervising crew members, coordinating tasks, and maintaining quality and safety standards, with occasional travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on concrete experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of forming, placing, finishing, and curing concrete.
• Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crew members, including finishers and laborers.
• Coordinate daily tasks and assign work to crew based on project needs.
• Ensure correct placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows safety protocols.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and inspections to avoid delays.
• Monitor progress and report status updates to the Superintendent or PM.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Oversee and supervise daily operations of one of our Concrete Crews including the safety, quality, and personnel management aspects.
• Must be able to walk through construction sites and lift 50 pounds from the ground.
• Support of safety & health programs, including daily tailgate meetings, accident investigations, and development and implementation of corrective action plans.
• Provide guidance and development of hourly personnel to meet performance requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
