Job summary

Karvo Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our team in Ohio. You will lead field crews on heavy civil concrete projects including roadways, bridges, sidewalks, curbs, and other infrastructure, ensuring safe, high-quality work.

You’ll oversee forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing operations, coordinate manpower and equipment, read plans, and mentor crew members while maintaining productivity and schedule integrity on diverse sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Concrete Foreman or in a concrete leadership role.
• Experience with heavy civil concrete construction such as roadways, bridges, sidewalks, or sites.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and grade stakes.
• Knowledge of concrete placement, forming, finishing, and grading.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crews on heavy civil construction projects.
• Coordinate daily work activities to keep projects on schedule.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and grade stakes.
• Oversee forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials on site.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and project specs.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on every job site.
• Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Mentor and develop crew members while maintaining a productive work environment.
