Job summary

Karvo Companies, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex heavy highway and infrastructure construction projects in Northeast Ohio.

This leadership role oversees all phases from pre-construction to completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget adherence, and client satisfaction. You will coordinate with estimators, superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and clients to drive successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in heavy civil or heavy highway construction
• 3+ years in a Project Manager role (senior-level preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Strong DOT/public works knowledge
• Experience with project management software and cost control systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple heavy highway construction projects
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting
• Review contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Mentor and support Project Managers and project staff
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Drive profitability and operational efficiency
• Maintain strong client relationships
