Job summary

Doggett Concrete Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Foreman to lead field crews on commercial projects. The Foreman will plan daily operations, manage crew productivity, uphold quality and safety standards, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong knowledge of foundations, footings, walls, slabs, and structural concrete, plus the ability to read drawings, coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial concrete construction experience.
• Experience as Foreman or similar leadership role.
• Clean record and valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to perform the physical requirements of commercial concrete construction.
• Job Specific Physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Come prepared with a plan for the day’s work.
• Understand the drawings and scope before directing the crew.
• Set clear expectations for production and workmanship.
• Hold crew members accountable while treating employees with respect.
• Identify problems early to avoid schedule delays.
• Communicate material and equipment needs in advance.
• Protect company tools, equipment and forming materials.
• Maintain a safe and organized jobsite.
• Communicate effectively with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Take pride in quality and productivity, and mentor the next generation of lead workers.
