Job summary

Fessler & Bowman Inc in Smyrna, TN is seeking a experienced Concrete Foreman to lead a crew on construction projects, ensuring on-time completion and adherence to safety guidelines.

You will validate plans, coordinate materials, supervise forming and pouring, and communicate daily goals while coordinating with the Superintendent. Travel to surrounding sites is expected; OSHA 30 certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Concrete Foreman experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record preferred.
• Experience leading crews of 6+ people while completing forming and pouring tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to job coach.
• Safety attitude.

Responsibilities

• Validate accurate take-off quantities and ensure materials, equipment, and subs are on site per schedule.
• Review, validate, and shoot grades and ensure elevations match latest drawings.
• Complete 3-week look ahead and align with superintendent and PM on schedule.
• Daily communication with PM including risks to schedule, quantities, or manpower.
• Track equipment, form, shoring and other assets; organize demobilization.
• Ensure OSHA, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
• Oversee construction projects from start to finish and coordinate workers without supervision.
• Communicate and uphold company integrity and ethics across the team.
