Job summary

Stephens & Smith Construction Flatworks Division is seeking a full-time LFW Supervisor to lead field operations, supervise subcontractors, and oversee on-site tasks for concrete foundations and flatwork projects.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination with the Job Foreman, and adherence to safety and quality standards across multiple trades, with a focus on timely documentation and budget-conscious execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
• ACI Certification and OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred but not required; ability to obtain per project needs.
• Minimum 5 years of on-the-job supervision experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and coordinate work of subcontractors and field personnel.
• Ensure documentation complies with company policy and is submitted timely.
• Collaborate with the Job Foreman, Flatwork Craftsman, and Field Personnel roles.
• Demonstrate expertise in form setting, layout, and curing materials.
• Supervise carpentry tasks and concrete finishing with appropriate hand and power tools.
• Perform layout tasks using field controls and maintain professional housekeeping and equipment.
• Lead crews and manage project schedules to meet budgets.
