Job summary

Hadco Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Flatwork Foreman to lead crews in the placement and finishing of concrete for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. You will manage daily field operations, maintain schedules, and promote safety while delivering quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in concrete flatwork, including 2+ years in a supervisory role, strong finishing techniques, and the ability to read plans and grades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in concrete flatwork with at least 2 years in a foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, mix designs, and curing methods.
• Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
• Experience setting forms, layout, and managing pours of various sizes.
• Excellent leadership and communication; able to direct crews and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Must be at least 18 with valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct concrete crews in placing, finishing, and curing flatwork.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and grades.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure finishing techniques and tolerances meet standards.
• Order and schedule materials, equipment, and labor.
• Complete daily reports, including timecards and equipment usage.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite, enforcing OSHA policies.
• Train and mentor crew members to improve performance.
