Job summary

Perrigo in Bronx, NY, is seeking a 1st Shift Lead Compounder to join our manufacturing team. You will compound batches from the master formula, operate kettles and pumps, weigh materials, and sign batch records.

This is a union position paying $25.00 per hour on a 5x8 schedule, with adherence to SOPs, QA collaboration, safety rules, and daily log entries.

Requires about one year of compounding experience, ability to lift 25–50 lbs, read English, and wear a respirator.

Qualifications

• One year of compounding experience preferred.
• Must be able to read English and sign batch records.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear full/half face respirator.

Responsibilities

• Compound batches from copy of master formula and give directions to operators/compounders.
• Follow written instructions.
• Follow all SOPs for MFG/Compounding.
• Complete set-ups of equipment to be used for manufacturing.
• Weigh raw materials, monitor procedures, run kettles, pumps and move materials as needed.
• Sign batch records and make log entries.
