Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Lead Compounder for the Bronx, NY facility on 1st shift. This union position pays $25.00 per hour with a 5x8 schedule. Role involves weighing raw materials, following master formulas, and ensuring batch records are properly logged.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, monitoring procedures, coordinating with operators, and maintaining safety and SOP compliance. Hybrid options may be available, with opportunities for QA collaboration.

Qualifications

• One year of compounding experience preferred.
• Must be able to read English and sign batch records and log entries after each step as required.
• Must be able to lift materials/equipment weighing between 25-50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear full/half face respirator.

Responsibilities

• Compound batches from copy of master formula and give directions to operators/compounders.
• Follow written instructions and SOPs for manufacturing/compounding.
• Complete set-ups of equipment for manufacturing.
• Sign batch records and log entries and maintain batch records.
• Cooperate with QA inspectors and ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of area.
