Job summary

Perrigo facility in Bronx, New York is seeking a Lead Compounder for the 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will compound batches from a master formula and provide directions to operators, weigh raw materials, and monitor batch procedures.

The role requires operating kettles and pumps, signing batch records, and maintaining logs, while following SOPs and safety rules as part of a union position with a $25.00 per hour pay rate on a 4x10 schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of compounding experience preferred.
• Must be able to read English, sign batch records and log entries after each step as required.
• Must be able to lift materials/equipment weighing between 25 - 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear full/half face respirator.

Responsibilities

• Compound batches from copy of master formula and give directions to operators.
• Weigh raw materials and monitor batch procedures.
• Set up and operate kettles and pumps; move materials as needed.
• Sign batch records and make log entries.
• Follow SOPs for manufacturing and cleaning procedures.
• Complete set-ups of equipment to be used for manufacturing.
• Maintain daily professional relations with division staff and supervisors.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
