Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking a Composite & Bonding Specialist Manager to lead a team in the fabrication and assembly of advanced aerostructures for the Airbus A350 XWB. You will drive solutions with cross-functional groups to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries.

The role requires at least 5 years in manufacturing with leadership experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work with engineering, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience and leadership/management role.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, Machining).
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's Degree; experience with SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in developing solutions to complex problems using ingenuity and creativity.
• Lead a team of represented employees in fabrication and assembly of complex aerostructures to meet production and customer requirements.
• Oversee assembly of components into subassemblies, mating of structural assemblies, installation of systems, and testing with appropriate equipment.
• Interface with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and acceptance.
