Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston in Kinston, NC, is seeking an Industrial Manager to lead composite manufacturing operations on the shop floor, driving Lean/continuous improvement and coordinating a multi-functional team to meet production goals.

You will monitor end-to-end industrial flow, implement Airbus Operating System routines, lead root-cause analysis, and foster a culture of quality and safety while delivering on-time, on-quality finished work packages for internal customers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar required or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in industrial engineering or a similar role.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interact and influence Operations & MF teams in a composite manufacturing and assembly environment.
• Lead a multi-functional team to deliver priorities with appropriate support.
• Monitor and optimize the entire industrial flow to align with quality standards and objectives.
• Lead, implement, and continuously improve routines per Airbus Operating System using data and Pareto analysis.
• Identify root causes of non-quality and reduce human factor-related defects in production.
• Foster a quality culture and act as a focal point for cross-entity coordination.
• Develop dynamic plans to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery of finished work packages.
