Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Community Manager for Presidential Greens in Alexandria, VA. You will oversee property operations, leasing office, and team performance to deliver exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities include budget management, staffing, marketing outreach, and ensuring compliance with laws. Weekend work required; strong English and Spanish skills recommended; MS Office and PM software proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the property management field.
• 2+ years’ supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership and success with leasing processes.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Experience with property management software.
• Ability to walk apartments and grounds, including stairs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional interaction with residents.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (or willing to use both).
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing.

Responsibilities

• Manage administration of property operations and leasing office.
• Monitor financial operations and achieve budgeted NOI.
• Provide a quality living environment and positive team atmosphere.
• Hire and supervise on-site staff including maintenance.
• Ensure property grounds and units meet company standards.
• Ensure timely rent collection and delinquency procedures.
• Support leasing benchmarks and resident retention.
• Assist outreach to market and promote the property.
• Understand sub-market and mentor staff.
• Lead a high-performing, customer-focused team.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction and property goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
