Job summary

KETTLER seeks an Assistant Community Manager for its McLean, VA property. You will assist the Community Manager in delivering excellent resident services and coordinating all aspects of apartment community operations for a 400-unit property or smaller.

You will support leasing, coordinate maintenance, monitor rent collections, and work with the marketing team to maximize occupancy while upholding Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management experience or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Proven communication skills and ability to interact with residents professionally.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing mandates and legal issues affecting property management.
• Experience with leasing processes and property operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage administration of property operations and leasing office for a 400 or fewer unit property.
• Support Community Manager with monitoring financial operations and achieving NOI budgets.
• Coordinate maintenance of property grounds and service requests.
• Provide a quality living environment for residents and a positive work environment for team members.
• Work with marketing to maximize property occupancy and handle leasing overflow.
