Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a team supporting the Common Q platform for I&C control. You will ensure platform maintenance, address issues, and integrate software across Common Q products.

You will report to the Manager, Common Q and CE Safety Systems – Safety & Reactor Systems Engineering and work in a hybrid role at the Warrendale, PA facility. A minimum of 10 years in engineering with a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years experience in engineering leadership or related field.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
Understanding of I&C systems in hardware and software.
As part of a cross-functional team including engineering, testing, manufacturing, supply chain management, and suppliers.
Experience with Common Q and embedded software integration.

Responsibilities

Prepare business cases for upgrades
Guide on going platform upgrades
And on budget
Support upgrade and new project needs technically
Work with licensing to ensure products maintain NRC and Global approval for use
Lead Software design activities including embedded and tools utilized on the platform
Lead integration and software development for the platform
