Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to oversee day-to-day commissioning operations across multiple projects. You will coordinate with project owners and supervise commissioning teams to ensure all systems meet performance standards from design through owner turnover.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of experience, including 4 years in commissioning management on large contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience with 4 years in commissioning and 4 years as a Commissioning Manager on large contracts.
• Experience leading commissioning teams and interfacing with project owners.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/OSHA electrical safety standards and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day commissioning operations across multiple projects and teams.
• Coordinate with Project Executive on financial and administrative aspects per contract requirements.
• Develop and review commissioning plans and documentation; track updates and resolve issues.
• Lead and supervise commissioning team, including contractors and internal staff.
• Interface with owners and senior teams to communicate policies, goals, and progress.
