Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Commissioning Senior Project Manager in Maryland to lead day-to-day commissioning operations across multiple projects. You will coordinate personnel, collaborate with project owners, and ensure systems are installed, tested and operated per standards.

With at least 8 years in commissioning (4 years as a manager) and a relevant degree, you will guide planning, budgeting, and documentation while traveling to project sites as needed. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Total 8+ years of experience with 4 years in commissioning and 4 years as a Commissioning Manager.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites; mix of office and field work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day commissioning operations across projects and teams.
• Manage financial and administrative aspects of projects per contract requirements.
• Develop and review commissioning plans and associated documentation.
• Interface with project owners and senior teams on technical commissioning issues.
• Lead commissioning team including contractor personnel and internal staff.
