Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Commissioning General Foreman for utility-scale solar, BESS, substations, or high‑voltage construction across the United States.

Lead Foremen and craft labor, provide hands‑on technical expertise across electrical systems, coordinate commissioning, startup, and field execution, enforce safe work practices, monitor cost and productivity, and mentor crew to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading craft labor on large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, commissioning, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Foremen and craft labor to ensure safe, productive jobsite execution.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise across HV/MV systems, substations, switchgear, and interconnects.
• Support engineering review, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup of electrical scopes.
• Plan and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and control costs.
• Implement standardized work instructions and construction methods.
• Mentor Foremen and field engineers to improve performance and consistency.
• Maintain reporting and documentation including daily reports, time sheets, and quality records.
