Job summary

Ameren Missouri seeks a Supervising Engineer-Commissioning to lead commissioning activities for start-ups and refurbishments at power facilities. The role drives safety as the top priority while guiding a team of commissioning engineers and supported by specialists across projects in the region.

You will oversee planning, design reviews, factory tests, and field activities, serving as the main commissioning authority and coordinating resources with other operations and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering from an accredited college.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in commissioning or engineering
• P.E. license preferred; PMP certification preferred
• Experience in power generation facilities, transmission facilities, or substations

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of commissioning engineers.
• Foster a culture of safety and zero unsafe acts.
• Provide leadership in development and planning of commissioning plans for start-ups and refurbishments.
• Serve as the primary commissioning authority for site-specific project plans.
• Ensure commissioning activities are scheduled, tracked, and reported; allocate resources.
