Job summary

Dürr Systems, LLC is seeking a Field Commissioning Engineer to coordinate electrical installation and commissioning at customer sites in the United States. You will partner with project teams, lead site activities, review drawings, and ensure compliance with project specs and standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field, hands-on experience with PLC/HMI and industrial networks, and the ability to travel extensively while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training, with supervisory/site-leadership experience.
Experience installing and commissioning electrical and controls systems.
Ability to read electrical drawings and standards like EN 60204-1, UL 508A, NEC.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, travel up to 90%.
Experience coordinating contractors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate electrical installation and commissioning activities at customer sites.
Lead site meetings, pre-job walkthroughs, and contractor activities.
Review drawings and installation requirements for compliance.
Perform startup, testing, and commissioning of equipment.
Troubleshoot controls hardware, software, networks, and sensors.
Document field changes and manage punch lists to final handover.
Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
