City of Enid is seeking a CDL-equipped driver to perform commercial refuse collection routes across designated commercial stops. You will operate dumpers, manage bins, and maintain safe procedures while coordinating with dispatch for timely pickups.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and CDL-B; training in defensive driving is provided. Regular safety briefings, route familiarity, and careful attention to traffic conditions are essential for success.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One-year previous truck or equipment driving experience is preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma Class B CDL without air brake restriction on hire.
• Completion of Solid Waste Defensive Driving (within one year).

Mansioni

• Drive routes and follow customer pickup requirements.
• Operate hoisting devices to move and dump refuse; manage bins.
• May oversee one collector and ensure safety policy compliance.
• Drive to disposal sites and unload trucks; clean debris as needed.
• Communicate delays or issues via radio with dispatchers.
