Job summary

Strategic Government Resources, Inc. seeks a sanitation worker to work on back of a truck on assigned routes, lifting and dumping residential refuse, and assisting in safe operation of collection equipment.

The role requires manual handling of 25–75 lb loads, good customer interaction, and adherence to safety practices. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Oklahoma driver's license; CDL Class B with N endorsement must be obtained within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Works on the back of a truck and picks up trash/yard waste on assigned route.
• Manually lifts residential trash/yard waste containers and empties contents into refuse truck.
• Operates compactor mechanism on truck by manually pushing lever to start the automatic packing of refuse and/or yard waste.
• Observes pick up area to determine whether area is free of refuse and replaces lid on empty cans.
• Picks up trash on road sides and alleys; interfaces with citizens regarding questions or complaints.
