Job summary

Pavilion Construction seeks a Lead Commercial Superintendent to steer on-site operations for our commercial projects. You will lead trades, manage safety, maintain schedules, and ensure quality from mobilization to completion.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to resolve field issues, coordinate subcontractors, and keep momentum on demanding timelines while upholding our standards of accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading commercial construction projects as superintendent.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, drawings, specifications, and field coordination.
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day field operations and multiple trades.
• Ability to develop and communicate weekly and monthly work plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily on-site construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, trades, and field personnel.
• Maintain the project schedule and identify potential delays or conflicts.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and reinforce jobsite safety expectations.
• Coordinate trade sequencing, site logistics, and project milestones.
• Partner with the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and field conditions.
• Work with the Project Engineer to ensure submittals, RFIs, and clarifications remain current.
• Monitor workmanship, quality, schedule, and overall jobsite performance.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and photo documentation.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure work is performed according to project requirements.
• Communicate project milestones, challenges, and progress to the project team.
• Lead from the field and establish clear expectations for safety, accountability, quality, and performance.

Pavilion is seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for site leadership, trade coordination, scheduling, safety, quality, and maintaining project momentum from mobilization through completion.

The Lead Commercial Superintendent works closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to proactively resolve field issues, coordinate subcontractors, maintain the project schedule, and deliver a safe, high-quality project on time and within budget.
