Solar Gaines is seeking a Solar Project Manager to lead commercial solar construction projects in Maryland. You will own in-house crews and logistics, driving projects from estimate through completion while delivering code-compliant, high-quality solar solutions.

The role emphasizes supervising installation teams, reviewing plans, and coordinating with clients and sales to implement design changes. A strong safety focus and proven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management in solar/electrical/construction.
• Experience managing in-house crews, not just subs.
• Strong ability to read electrical plans, specs, NEC codes.
• Proven track record leading construction projects and crews.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA standards and site safety practices.
• Proficiency with office software (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Supervise in-house crews and subs to execute commercial solar construction safely and efficiently.
• Oversee full project lifecycles to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery meeting customer standards.
• Review electrical plans, perform material take-offs, and generate detailed estimates.
• Conduct site safety inspections and verifications for code compliance and quality.
• Coordinate with clients and sales to reconfigure designs and process change orders.
• Monitor daily labor efficiency and enforce OSHA practices on all active sites.
