Job summary

Johnson Controls in Houston is seeking a Commercial Installer to work onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security fire and security systems. The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.

5+ years security experience, ability to read blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and communicate effectively with customers are required. Texas FA License and Software House experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years security experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
• Texas FA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and program integrated fire and security systems on site.
• Dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by the customer.
• Follow safety protocols to avoid injuries and material loss.
• Coordinate with authorities and verify schedules with customers.
• Coach and mentor junior installers on larger projects.
