Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building technologies, is seeking a Commercial Installer to work onsite with commercial customers in Orlando, FL. You will set up and program Integrated Security fire and security systems and may lead installation teams on larger projects.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of electrical/electronic experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to safety. A high school diploma or GED is required, with additional technical training a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• 6+ years electrical/electronic equipment experience and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install and program Integrated Security fire and security systems onsite for commercial customers.
• Dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required.
• Follow wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures; test system operation.
• Coordinate with police/fire departments; manage installation records.
