Job summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Tech I for our Akron, OH location. You will lead the service crew, inspect and repair leaks, and ensure high craftsmanship across EPDM, PVC, TPO, built-up, modified bitumen, and metal roofing systems.

Responsibilities include managing projects from start to finish, maintaining safety, communicating professionally with clients, and completing required paperwork while training crew members as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Experience with EPDM, PVC, TPO, built-up roofing, modified bitumen, and metal systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish).
• Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Work at varying heights and in different weather conditions.
• Strong communication with clients, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
• Tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Lead service crew and manage roofing repairs.
• Investigate, locate and repair leaks and defects.
• Manage projects from start to finish with craftsmanship.
• Perform roof maintenance and repairs as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Complete required paperwork and attend meetings; assist in training crew members.
