Job summary

JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company, located in Akron, OH, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Tech I to lead our service crew. You will investigate, locate, and repair leaks across EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofing, while managing projects from start to finish with a focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

• 3–5 years leading commercial roofing crews.
• Experience with EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofing.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual EN/ES preferred.
• Must lift 50+ pounds and work at varying heights.

Responsibilities

• Lead service crew on roofing projects from start to finish.
• Inspect, locate, and repair leaks and defects in roofing systems.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and supervise crew; complete required paperwork and attend meetings.
• Assist in training crew members and manage inventory/paperwork as needed.
