Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Maryland is seeking a Superintendent to lead and coordinate roofing crews and subcontractors on commercial projects.

The role requires overseeing field operations, reading blueprints, ensuring safety, and meeting project schedules and budgets. Travel to multiple sites is expected; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; this is a salaried OT-exempt position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience with multiple roofing systems (single-ply, torch, etc).
• Ability to read blueprints / shop drawings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise commercial roofing crews and subcontractors.
• Read and implement project field manuals for various roofing systems.
• Enforce company safety procedures on all sites.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
• Maintain lines of communication with GC's, building owners, and project teams.
• Ensure projects meet schedules and budgets and that customer expectations are met.
