Job summary

Tecta America Carolinas, a commercial roofing contractor, is seeking a capable Foreman to manage and supervise roofing crews and jobs at project sites in the Carolinas. You will read blueprints, coordinate with owners and general contractors, and ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective execution of work.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of commercial roofing experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong leadership and safety training abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 8-10 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to operate ladders and access roofs.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and jobs.
• Attend and participate in pre-construction meetings.
• Read and interpret field books, plans and specifications.
• Coordinate communications with GC’s, owners, and project managers.
• Instruct and train crews in roofing production and safety.
• Recruit, train, and retain field personnel; ensure cost-effective execution.
