Job summary

Flynn Group is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager in the Kansas City area. You will oversee the full lifecycle of roofing projects, coordinate with Superintendents and other departments, and drive on-budget delivery, scheduling and subcontractor management.

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of roofing PM experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project, and the MS Office suite.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management within a Commercial Roofing scope or equivalent
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Office including MS Project
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate in a team environment
• Strong blueprint reading and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end project lifecycle from kickoff to closeout
• Plan pre-construction activities with Superintendent and develop project schedule
• Manage contracts and ensure language aligns with estimates
• Prepare project binder for site teams
• Produce and track submittals and change orders
• Perform material takeoffs and cost tracking to meet budget
• Coordinate RFIs and client communications; conduct site walks with clients and Superintendents
