Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager in City of Industry, CA to oversee roofing and waterproofing projects from award to closeout. This role requires close coordination with contractors, owners, architects, and internal teams to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of commercial roofing PM experience, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to read construction drawings and contracts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial roofing and waterproofing projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, construction methods, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and financial reporting.
• Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore/COINS/Bluebeam).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing and waterproofing projects from award through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel, and internal project teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, building owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other project documents.
• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, billing, collections, forecasting, and profitability.
• Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, safety standards, quality, and deadlines.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to customers and leadership.
• Identify and resolve project challenges while supporting field operations.
