Job summary

Highland Roofing Company in North Carolina is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimating Manager to lead and develop our estimating team, driving consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the organization. The role can be based in any of our offices – Charlotte, Raleigh/Garner, or Wilmington.

You will coach estimators, manage bid schedules, and optimize estimating workflows while partnering with sales, operations, and leadership to support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience or 8+ years in commercial construction estimating.
• Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop estimators across multiple locations.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, training, and performance coaching.
• Manage bid schedules, workload distribution, and estimating workflow.
• Improve estimating processes, standards, and best practices.
• Lead bid reviews and strengthen risk management practices.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed on time.
• Partner with sales, operations, and senior leadership to support company growth.
