Job summary

Highland Roofing is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimating Manager to lead and develop our estimating team while driving consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across our organization. The role can be based in Charlotte, Raleigh/Garner, or Wilmington.

You will lead, coach, and develop estimators, manage bid schedules, and partner with sales and leadership to drive growth. Travel to locations is required to support team development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience OR 8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of construction estimating principles
• Experience with construction estimating software
• Proven ability to coach and develop employees
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop estimators across multiple locations
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, training, and performance coaching
• Manage bid schedules, workload distribution, and estimating workflow
• Improve estimating processes, standards, and best practices
• Lead bid reviews and strengthen risk management practices
• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed on time
• Partner with sales, operations, and senior leadership to support company growth
• Travel regularly to Highland Roofing locations to build relationships and support team development
