Burns & Scalo Ohio is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead skilled crews on a variety of roofing projects in Ohio. You will supervise crews, read plans, and ensure timely, safety-conscious delivery from start to finish.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, adherence to safety, and collaboration with project managers and clients to solve on-site challenges and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial roofing and systems like TPO, EPDM, PVC.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Knowledge of safety harnesses and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise roofing crews to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality projects.
• Interpret plans, schematics, blueprints for installation guidance.
• Enforce safety regulations and proper PPE usage.
• Manage materials, tools, scaffolding to optimize workflow.
• Oversee installation of roofing systems and detailed work.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with PMs/clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate roofing crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
• Interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation processes
• Enforce construction safety regulations, including proper use of safety harnesses and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Manage materials and tools such as hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment to optimize workflow
• Oversee the installation of roofing systems, coping, gravel stop, and all detail work
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to construction plans and specifications
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to interpret technical details and resolve on-site challenges promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial roofing, roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, and PVC
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
• Knowledge of construction safety harnesses and adherence to workplace safety regulations is essential
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, leisters, and other roofing equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage physical demands of the job effectively
