Job summary

Burns & Scalo Roofing is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Foreman to lead a field crew in inspection, repair, and maintenance of various commercial roofing systems. The role requires directing crew members, communicating with customers, and maintaining accurate job documentation.

You will oversee safety compliance, productivity, and quality of work while delivering excellent customer service and reports to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of crew leadership or foreman experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and repair techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor.
• Ability to read work orders and basic roof drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise service technicians and helpers.
• Diagnose roof leaks and determine repair solutions; perform repairs on EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR and metal roofs.
• Explain repair recommendations and work performed to customers; maintain positive relationships.
• Enforce all safety policies and OSHA regulations; ensure proper PPE and fall protection.
• Complete service tickets, inspection reports, and daily job records; document roof conditions with photos.
• Inspect company vehicles and equipment daily; keep trucks stocked and organized; manage repair materials.
