Job summary

Walker White Mechanical in Columbia, SC is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Superintendent to lead field operations, mentor crews, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery across our commercial portfolio.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial plumbing experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to coordinate work with project managers, GC's, inspectors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial plumbing construction experience.
• 3+ years leading crews, foremen, or field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on commercial plumbing projects.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and resources.
• Partner with Project Managers to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Review drawings and specifications for successful execution.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts and installation issues.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.
