Job summary

MillerWorks in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial plumbing projects. You will supervise Foremen, coordinate crews, review plans, and drive safe, on-time project execution in line with specifications and company goals.

Ideal candidates bring extensive plumbing construction experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage labor, safety, and QA/QC across multiple projects in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial plumbing constructions.
• 3+ years in Foreman, Superintendent, or other construction leadership role directing field personnel.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all field operations for assigned projects.
• Provide leadership to Foremen and field personnel, including workforce planning and staffing recommendations.
• Coordinate activities of Foremen and crews to meet plans, specs, schedules, and quality standards.
• Review drawings, specs, and schedules to develop field work plans.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality, and safety; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate material procurement, equipment, and jobsite logistics to support schedules.
• Serve as primary field contact for customers, general contractors, inspectors, and vendors.
• Ensure safety policies and required documentation are followed and submitted timely.
