Job summary

Accurate Mechanical in Circleville, OH is seeking a Plumbing Journeyman to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will read blueprints, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety and quality standards on site.

You will lead crews, inspect systems for leaks, coordinate with project managers and other trades, and maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used on each assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumbing License / Certification or in process as required by local or state regulations.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a plumber in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints and building codes.
• Lead and supervise apprentices and helpers, providing guidance and training to develop their skills.
• Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, malfunctions, and compliance with safety regulations, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate plumbing work within construction schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
