Job summary

Haven Services & The Waterworks in Columbus, OH is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice Trainer (Journeyman Plumber) to lead hands-on field training, reinforcing code compliance, safety, and high-quality workmanship on real jobs.

You will mentor apprentices, track progress toward licensing readiness, and partner with foremen to place trainees on suitable projects, helping develop the next generation of skilled plumbers within our Columbus team.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level plumber with Ohio experience preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on plumbing service or install experience.
• Experience mentoring apprentices or trainees.

Responsibilities

• Train apprentices in the field on installation and repair techniques.
• Lead by example to ensure safety, quality workmanship and customer care.
• Assess performance and track progress toward licensing readiness.
• Collaborate with foremen and journeymen to place apprentices on suitable jobs.
• Provide daily coaching and feedback.
