Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is seeking a Supervisor Commercial Loan Processing to oversee daily operations for CRE, C&I, and SBA loan processing and administration. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring accuracy, and meeting regulatory and policy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed.
• Minimum 5 years direct commercial loan processing/closing experience including CRE and C&I credits.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the processing and administration of commercial loans, including CRE, C&I, and SBA loan requests.
• Oversee the commercial loan pipeline and monthly pipeline meetings to ensure timely processing and closing.
• Assign approved loans to Commercial Loan Processors based on workload and complexity; monitor workflow.
• Oversee completion of due diligence and preparation of post-approval documentation.
• Coordinate with Commercial Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, vendors, and legal counsel to close loans efficiently.
• Provide supervision, coaching, training, and performance evaluations; handle HR needs and hiring as needed.
• Assist with compliance, internal/external audits, and exams; ensure adherence to NCUA regulations.
