Job summary

Allegiance Group in Manhattan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial interior projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing commercial construction interiors, understands contracts and cost control, and can read drawings. NYC/Manhattan experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, interiors or fit-outs.
• Experience with General Contractors and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proven ability to manage project teams and deliver in Manhattan/NYC markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Oversee bidding, procurement, subcontractor contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, quality, and risks, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear, accurate progress updates to key stakeholders.
• Work closely with site teams to ensure projects meet safety requirements, contractual obligations, and quality expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
