Airforceteam in South Florida is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician for commercial service. This lead-level role focuses on complex diagnostics, repairs, and installations with daily fieldwork across rooftops and job sites. You will mentor junior techs, interact with property managers and engineers, and ensure accurate documentation and readiness of tools and vehicles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HVAC field experience, including commercial service.
• Strong independent troubleshooting across refrigeration, electrical/controls, water-side, and airflow.
• EPA 608 certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and sequences of operation.
• Your own hand tools and standard diagnostic instruments (we provide specialty equipment).
• Comfort working on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, and in high-rise buildings.

Responsabilités

Senior HVAC Technician – Commercial Service | South Florida

This is a lead-level field role. You’ll handle complex commercial service, diagnostics, and installs, and you’ll mentor the techs around you. Most of your day is on tools, on rooftops, and on job sites.

What You’ll Do

• Service, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial systems, and support installations and commissioning

Systems You’ll Work On

• RTUs and commercial split systems
• VRF/VRV
• WSHPs, condenser-water loops, and cooling towers
• VAV, air handlers, economizers, and outside air
• Chilled-water fan coils and hydronic systems
• Controls: VFDs, sensors, safeties, and BAS/DDC fundamentals

What You Bring

• 8+ years of HVAC field experience, including commercial service

Compensation &; Benefits

Base Salary: $65,000–$85,000, based on demonstrated experience and technical capability.
