Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, seeks a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead on-site projects from kickoff to startup and mentor a growing crew of Install Helpers and Apprentices. You will drive safety, quality, and timely completion while coordinating with customers and project managers.

Minimum 4+ years of HVAC installation experience, EPA certification, and a clean driving record are required. This role offers a company vehicle and growth within the NearU network.

Qualifications

4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
EPA Certification (required).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
Install/replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, and duct systems.
Read blueprints and installation plans to keep projects on schedule.
Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and system performance.
